About
I’m a designer & I like to make stuff
Hi there! My name is Jenn and I’m a graphic designer and hand letterer based in New York. I’ve got a passion for subtle details, clever compositions and elegant letterforms. Because of this, I enjoy embracing challenges and finding innovative solutions.
With agency, in-house, and freelance experience, I employ a wide variety of styles. I therefore strive to incorporate many different techniques in my work. Each design has a personal narrative and tells its own story. Dramatic angles, geometric elements, and anything and everything to do with typography, ampersands, and hand-lettering are what inspire me most.
My inspiration
I am continually amazed by the abundance of talented designers and illustrators in the world. A few of my creative influences include: Louise Fili, Martina Flor, Lauren Hom, Nick Misani, and of course, Herb Lubalin.
A bit more
When I’m not flexing my creative muscles, I enjoy exploring new cities, learning new languages, chasing sunsets, and breaking it down on the dance floor.
These are a few of my favorite things
I have the privilege to work in a field where a lot of my professional and personal activities overlap. I strive to live by the phrase “do what you love what you do” each and every day. Whether it’s hand lettering for a freelance project, getting inspired by my various travels or simply a beautiful landscape, kicking back and re-reading Harry Potter yet again, or randomly scribbling doodles anywhere and everywhere, I try to find creativity all around me.
